List and discuss these challenges in regards to how urban agriculture might
address these challenges, giving specific real world examples. (24pts – 6 per
challenge)
Considering the various ways discussed throughout the last few learning modules
(10-12) – backyard gardeners/”victory garden movement”, small scale local
farmers, urban/high density, school and community gardens; Is there a particular
form of agriculture or a system that you feel may address the issues that Mr.
Kirschenmann discussed in the videos best and why. What needs to happen, in your
opion to make the food system a sustainable system as described by Kirschenmann.
