No source references are expected (although if you have a quote you “live by”, include it). This work should reflect your own thoughts about schooling, society, teaching and learning.
Structure: use subtitle to divide and organize this paper. Begin each section on a new page.
Section 1. “My Beliefs about Teaching and Learning”. A suggested for would be a list of 2-3 belief statements; each one is followed by an explanation of what it means and why it is included on the list. I suggest beginning each statement with “I believe…”
for example:
“I believe that students learn best when…”
this statement would be completed with an explanation of your reasoning for the initial part of statement.
Section 2. “My beliefs about Education and its Importance” (2-3 pages). Again, you might want to follow the list formant suggested above with a list of 2-3 belief statements followed by an explanation of what it means and why you included it on your list.
n Section 3. “My Beliefs about Curriculum, its Developments, its Delivery, and its Accountability”. How do you believe it is best developed, delivered, and what role does curriculum play in a school’s accountability to its teachers, students, and parents?
