In debates about globalization, one of the divides is between scholars who assert that globalization is real and objective, and those who claim that globalization is imagined. Use Robinson’s theory of global capitalism to shed light on this debate. Particularly, use Robinson’s concepts such as Transnational Capitalist Class (TCC) and Transnational Capitalist State (TCS) to delineate reconfiguration of power and politics in the 21st century.
