4-demonstrate a high level of competence in conforming to the conventions governing the presentation of advanced academic writing in British Universities and international academic journals in the field of Translation Studies
5-Critically evaluate current research and advance scholarship related to the field of translation.
6-Critically analyze and evaluate translation methodologies, develop critiques of them and, where appropriate, propose new hypotheses.
7- Undertake self-directed, systematic in-depth research in the area of translation studies and related fields, and expertly present the outcome of independent research.
8-Advance their knowledge of theoretical, practical and ethical issues relevant to translation
9-consolidate the experience of the course by producing independent and potentially original work of significant length, exercising their own initiative and demonstrating their professionalism and judgment as a translator, theorist, and /or researcher.
