The paper should synthesize the student’s personal reactions , and explain how you will apply that increased awareness. The paper should focus on how consistent or inconsistent a person’s experience is with the typical presentation of that disorder. It should also incorporate material from class readings but go beyond that as well. Use at least four outside sources from the professional literature.
The paper will be graded on organization, through analysis of triggers and buffers of various disorders or crisis, as well as familial, multicultural, and societal issues that may have impacted the individual’s experience.
