Write a persuasive, thesis-driven, well-supported, and original essay that proposes a theory to the question: “How does a writer change a paradigm?” Your answer must take the form of a focused, sustained thought about a specific rhetorical technique you’ve observed in the course readings. You will not be making a list of claims about multiple rhetorical strategies that writers use. Instead, you will come up with a single answer and support it using readings from the course and your own reasoning, reading, and/or experience to persuade your audience of your specific theory, and why it’s significant.
