Write a short summary about the Anthony McCall’s Solid Light Works exhibition that was presented  by Pioneer Works. Include a physical observation of the space and installation, a personal opinion and a view of the exhibition.

I want to hear your ideas and opinions ( you may write in first person), but I don’t want an unfiltered  dairy-like, account of your walk through the galleries. You don’t need to take your reader on a step-by step tour, or discuss every artwork, i.e I saw this and then I saw that, I felt this and then I felt that, etc. Really think about what is important for  potential visitor to the exhibition to now, and keep your writing focused and streamlined on this

You have three basic tasks: describe, analyse and evaluate. Select some  high and low points- provide specific examples- without giving everything away so your reader is left with things to discover for herself. Some issues you might consider include, but are not limited to : exhibition design layout, themes , interesting/ relevant subject matter, merit of individuals works, artistic  technique and skill, and the curator’s role in things such as organization, information, clarity, etc. Does the show raise historical information, issues, ideas, and emotions that make a memorable impact on the viewer? Does the show inspire you? If so, how and why? Does the exhibition live up to the curator’s stated mission (Usually presented on a large wall panel at the exhibition entrance )? How does the exhibition help or hinder the museum’s identity/reputation? (For example, the Bjork show is getting a lot of press.) Ultimately, your task as a reviewer is to  make a convincing case for why it is (or is not)worthwhile to see the show
